The "Aquatic Earth" held irony in the phenomenon of the humans trying to rise to perfection, while demolishing their resources and position in the predatorial hierarchy
immolation. As many animals were wiped out by the rapid changed in environment, there was a massive reorganization of the food chain. While humans were forced to readapt to their new environment, they did not land at the top of the new food chain. Humans were exposed to new ocean-oriented predators and were forced to quickly adjust to their presence.
